Summer ….

The hot summer days are finally here,

Jump,

 Shout and cheer ‘cos summer’s finally here.

I wriggle my feet through the grains of sand; I look out to sea thinking ‘isn’t this grand’!

Berries ripen as red as the sun, children are playing and having some fun.

Lying in a hammock sleeping lazily, a nice and gentle breeze blew across the sea.

I walked along the beach and then I found a shell, I put it close up to my ear it sounded like a bell!

The sunset gently touched my hair with a gentle wave.

Then all the noise had stopped…….     

 

Christmas Tree

I put Christmas tree up. I like Christmas tree, I also like Christmas day when I get lots of presents. When I open my presents I get a big surprise. I like Santa Claus because he always knows what I want. Twenty more days to go until the awesome fun begins. I want a skipping rope, soft toys and IPod shuffle. Furby party rocker, pillow pet, lollies, diva, new teddy bear, snow hats, snow jacket, snow gloves.

     

Nephrite is the most common pounamu. It is made when greywacke and dendrite fuse together under extreme heat and pressure.

Destroyed

Dull stripes stripped the walls. Sad tears flow quietly forming streams through empty streets. Screams and shouts fill the streets with shame. Confused nightmares haunt the city scaring hopeful dreams away.
 Alone voices echoe through hollow hallways and then the noise stopped. Tears turn to smiles, nightmares turn to dreams and fear turns to hope. The warm sun showers the city turning mud to grass and forming flowers for spring. Love protected the country giving hope to each person.

The Japenese Tsunami (and earthquake) destroyed lives, hope and dreams. Fear filled the country and we hope this disaster never happens again.

Hi my name is Fizzy, most known as “the Fizzy volcano” why? Because I have really big tantrums.  But there is one huge tantrum I’ve had, I’ll tell you… it was a school day and we had a new teacher, Mrs Bono she was totally strict, I was writing while she was telling Nick off,  after that he was really embarrassed. I couldn’t wait to show Mrs Bono my writing, she would be so impressed. I was adding the finishing touches then I walked up to her desk I gave my book to her. She frowned, I screamed, all the noise stopped...      

Luck

The cannons brace yourself, bang! …and then the noise stopped…. I was watching Duncan as he stared his brutal fear straight into my very eyes. As they fired I thought to myself this is it for me gulp! Wow I was startled and amazingly still in one piece but that didn’t really   mean I still would be alive. I began to swim for my life and try avoiding killing machine sharks and burning driftwood all surrounding me. I had no choice but to sink myself into the splintery driftwood and row myself to shore. I couldn’t believe my stroke of luck I started laughing to myself saying man I am one lucky chap.

The Snow Beast

The northern mountains filled the surface with thick snow. I could hear a loud stomping noise in the distance… and then the noise stopped… I followed where the sound had been with my husky clinger; he pointed his nose into the deep sky and started sniffing the air. After a while he started barking “What is it boy” I said to clinger. I looked up into the sky and it had dozens of dark clouds covering it. We knew that a blizzard was coming so we skidded down the slope on the other side of the mountain and looked for an ice cave to take shelter.

Today I’m at a speech final with my brother and they are announcing the results. And that’s when it happened. They had just announced the person that came second everyone clapped …and then the noise stopped… a second later gasps started; finally the cries of horror began. That’s when I realized it, a dark shadow slowly but surely was coming over me. Then someone grabbed me by the scruff of the neck and threw me out of the crime scene. Then I started to feel dizzy, darkness cloaked me. I knew what was happening I was falling to the dark depths of unconsciousness

Right now I’m walking around with friend Mike. “I think someone is watching us”

I said “really your bringing this up again you really need to stop” “but I do it fells wired”

WOOSH “wow what was that I said” “I don’t know” mike said in a tremble.

SCEECH! “LOOK UP” mike screamed. I looked up and saw a gigantic bat I screamed

And ran out of way as fast as my legs could carry me. “OUCH HELP ME PLEASE AHH!”

And then the noise stopped   

Some mysteries may never be solved.

Whispering noises came through the wall, have you got the weapons I have located the man ...and then the noise stopped... I crept out of bed, the darkness blinded my eyes. I managed to find the light switch but the room stayed charcoal. I scurried around trying to find the door the quietness was overtaken with unbearable creaking floorboards. I managed to find the door as I opened it I saw shadows creep round the corner and then I heard a bang the bullets pierced my skin multiple times. I woke up in the hospital puzzled “was it a dream? Or was it real?”

 Waking up like I normally do. Smiling like crazy, I got so excited that I fall asleep snoring loudly.

A true story came up in a bubble, There was a big book. about a new born baby who was called Jesus. He was born in a barn on a farm.

A three direction wind snorted in through my window it sounded like a flying pig but they aren’t real. I looked out of my window and there he was … And then the noise stopped…  

I crawled back in bed sadly and then I heard other sounds in the background.

I heard a sound of wind sweeping in my ear ...and then the noise stopped... I took a silent step, but the house was really old and the wood creaked. All of a sudden a shadow crept over me and my fears. It's like the shadow was stalking me, it followed every move I performed. Then in the corner of my eye I saw something lurking towards a switch, it had poisonous ivy decorating the switch like a christmas tree he flicked the switch and then... I jumped into the window, did a swan dive and landed into the water.

He was staring at the parade. Then with a big bang everything stopped and everything in the world. Stopped except for me I was frozen in my own moment. Then something happened to me I was about TO think! then I see this light come to me I look up I’m dead, I was shot it was me stuck in the moment then I just remember then I looked up and it was pitch black. Then all I know that day was something’s are a myth I was about to walk up and this guy said no sleeping in my parade WHAT!

.........And then the noise stopped...........

It went silent, the sky grew darker  pieces of paper  blew everywhere people shut the blinds in their house and were staring through the middle of them, while I was walking on the street, for once peace was in the country.It was dark every day ,every week, every month and every year.The people started to come out to get what they need they had ripped clothes they looked like zombies they inched their way forward the sky grew lighter as it grew lighter the people started to change back to what they were.The Blinds were now open.

It started I took a dive for the table smash a light shattered above me. Bang another rattle of gun fire thudded into the table. I didn’t think to pull out my own gun a desert eagle I only had 3 rounds after the last attack. I heard a scream they had got him my brother gone

 “I have to escape now there was no time they would get me to if I didn’t leave.”  “Run was the only word in my head like a bad memory being stuck on a wall.” I fired a bullet scoring a direct hit and then the noise stopped.

I was sheltering under the table. The deafening sound was breaking through the hollow walls. I shrilled for it to stop but the irritating sound just kept going, teasing me. My ears started to ache, my anger within was building up quicker than the speed of light. The sound was now echoing so loud that lights started smashing, windows shattered and the sapphire blue lakes formed giant waves. I don’t think I can last much longer. …And then the noise stopped… Lights stopped swinging, windows stopped shaking and waves died down to a gentle splash. Finally my ears feel alright!

…and then the noise stopped… a flash escaped from the ruby red eye blinded me, startled I began to spin around but the beast gripped me by my waist I let a shrill scream, the teeth sank deep in my chest and thighs but yet it didn’t kill me, I tried to pries the jaws off but the teeth are curved, I swayed helplessly in the jaws of the beast that was carrying me to a cave the inky black covered me, my vision is going blurred then went black. My lifeless body slumped to the ground the beast drew back it’s and started roaring.

The shrieking noise was coming from the big black house at the end of the street. Mr Miller lived down the end of the street in that black house. Mr Millar had two sons that died in a car crash and ever since then he’s been acting all strange. Oh by the way my names Billy and was dared to go into the house for 20 seconds by my friend Josh. I started to walk up the dark black driveway. As I walked up to the door and opened it the noise stopped and the door locked on me.

Cousin's House

Their names are George, Will, and Sophie. They have a beach at opedo  bay in the Coromandell. We will Swim in the sea and go fishing in a boat. We will have heaps of barbeques  at night. It takes 6 hours in the car to get there. We will stop in Otorahonga  for lunch.   I will have McDonalds. I want to first say that we all put our heads down for all of the Philippines out there, we are all sad for the lives of your children and family, some people have  have experienced something like that so that's bad, we would come and help.

We all think it’s harsh, I think because the  Philippines are getting there homes destroyed.
