Ooh Alana, you had me so worried as I began to read. I was completely captivated by the simile, 'like a tunnel into the darkness' and whatever made you think of 'silence stealing the air'??? That is a superb way to portray that millisecond when time and space seem to stand still in an emergency, then thankfully the scenario played itself out and I breathed a sigh of relief. Whew! Long may Mr A continue his acting career.
