I was
sheltering under the table. The deafening sound was breaking through the hollow
walls. I shrilled for it to stop but the irritating sound just kept going,
teasing me. My ears started to ache, my anger within was building up quicker
than the speed of light. The sound was now echoing so loud that lights started
smashing, windows shattered and the sapphire blue lakes formed giant waves. I
don’t think I can last much longer. …And then the noise stopped… Lights stopped
swinging, windows stopped shaking and waves died down to a gentle splash. Finally
my ears feel alright!
