I see it again, but this time first I hide
shivering with terror gazing watching it’s every movement. Light’s out, I’m
blinded swirls of laughter rule the sky.
Silence red eyes scan the room; spirits are coming to haunt me I should’ve
listened to the warning. Every Halloween the spirits rise up from the ground
because when they built the house they demolished the cemetery. So now whoever
lives in the house they come and take your spirit. Bang I blacked out. I woke
up the next morning lying in my backyard all I could see was a pinch of sun in
the sky the rest overtaken with darkness. I had failed I was still alive but I
had not beaten the spirits. The sky remained dark forever
