…The violent storm was… bubbling overhead
like a shaken fizzy drink. Thunder sung
like a deep soul singer frightening the earth. Lightning enclosed over the sky
striking the ground. Panic flooded minds as cracks were formed in the lightning
infected streets. A splash of rain poured down constructing a river flowing
through the roads.
Suddenly the clouds swallowed up the storm
like a wind tunnel gulping it in. Flushed away the drained city re-formed back
to how it was. Roads healed there grazes revealing new blotches of concrete. Trees
magically re-grew their leaves leaving no signs of the vast destruction!
Jayden, this is really interesting. I really like your use of language and particularly like your reference to the sound singing like a 'deep soul singer.' This is imaginative and creative. Well done !
